Mission:

The Division of Animal Resources (DAR) provides high quality care, training, and consultation in the safe, humane use of laboratory animals in research and education in compliance with federal regulations and campus policies.

Vision:

DAR will be the campus resources responsible for quality laboratory animal care in support of the University's missions of education, research, and economic development. We will partner with the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research (OVCR), faculty, students, and regulatory agencies to ensure a progressive approach to animal health, facilities, and services.
